AmCham’s Blood Donor Day 2026

AmCham invites you to join our annual Blood Donor Day 2026—a life-saving tradition that has brought our business community together in the spirit of compassion and service since 2011.

As we embrace this year’s World Blood Donor Day theme, “One Drop of Humanity. Give Blood. Save Lives.”, your participation becomes more than a donation—it becomes a powerful expression of solidarity, humanity, and hope for those in need.

Over the past fifteen years, the AmCham community has demonstrated extraordinary generosity. Since 2011, more than 9,100 donors have contributed over 11,400 units of blood, helping support 34,000+ lives across Vietnam. Each donation has strengthened our healthcare system and provided a lifeline for patients facing emergencies, surgeries, cancer treatment, childbirth complications, and other critical medical needs.

This year, we invite you to join us at two donation drives:

• Day 1: August 11, 2026 | Novotel Saigon Centre
• Day 2: August 25, 2026 | New World Saigon Hotel

Inspired by the WHO’s global campaign, this year’s message reminds us that a single drop of blood reflects the very best of humanity. Every donor contributes to a chain of care that connects and protects our communities, ensuring safe blood is available whenever and wherever it is needed.

AmCham is honored to partner with the Blood Transfusion and Hematology Hospital to host these donation drives. The process is safe, professionally managed, and takes less than an hour, with a complimentary health screening provided to all donors.
